Arizonans Applying for Komen Grants

The Phoenix Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure will begin accepting applications from Arizona non-profit organizations for its annual Community Grants Program next month. Applications for the 2013-2014 cycle may be submitted beginning Wednesday, Aug. 15 and are due by Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Grant applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of two pre-application workshops prior to submitting an application. The workshops, hosted by Komen Phoenix, will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 3-5 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 16 from 9-11 a.m. at Phoenix Baptist Hospital (2000 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phoenix) in the Arlene Copley Wellness Room. RSVPs may be sent to grants@komenphoenix.org.
