Stay Cool This Summer With Family Activities And Entertainment At The Oasis

Valley residents can take a relaxing vacation without traveling far this summer with a weekend away at the state’s largest resort water park, The Oasis at Pointe South Mountain Resort. The destination resort is planning family fun activities and special suite rates to beat the heat.
 
Guests can take advantage of the summer suite rates from $129 per night Sundays through Wednesdays, and from $169 per night on weekends. Holiday weekends start at $189 per night with a two-night minimum.
Families are invited to unwind each weekend with a dive-in movie while floating in the 10,000-square-foot wave pool, shown at 8 p.m. on weekends.
 
Memorial Day Weekend Bash – Friday, May 26 through Sunday, May 28
The dive-in movies will be A Goofy Movie on Friday, Sky High on Saturday and Monsters, Inc. on Sunday. Live entertainment on Saturday and Sunday afternoons will be a balloon artist, caricature artist, magician and temporary tattoo artist. Teen pop sensation Rickiejoleen will perform on Saturday afternoon. The cocktail special will be the two-person Shark Tank.
 
Father’s Day Celebration – Friday, June 16 through Sunday, June 18
The dive-in movies will be The Rookie on Friday and Finding Nemo on Saturday. Live entertainment on Saturday and Sunday afternoons will be a balloon artist, caricature artist, magician and temporary tattoo artist. Rickiejoleen will perform on Saturday afternoon. The cocktail special will be the Dad-ometer.
 
Fourth of July Celebration – Friday, June 30 through Monday, July 3
The dive-in movies will be Chicken Little on Friday, Herbie: Fully Loaded on Saturday and Christmas with the Kranks on Sunday. Live entertainment on Saturday, Sunday and Monday afternoons will be a balloon artist, caricature artist, magician and temporary tattoo artist. Rickiejoleen will perform on Saturday afternoon. The cocktail special will be the two-person Shark Tank for adults, and the non-alcoholic Guppy Tank for kids and teens.
 
Monsoon Madness – Friday, Aug. 18 through Saturday, Aug. 19
The dive-in movies will be Valiant on Friday and Kicking and Screaming on Saturday. Live entertainment on Saturday afternoon will be a balloon artist, caricature artist, magician and temporary tattoo artist. The cocktail special will be the Mango Sunburn Extreme.
 
Labor Day Celebration – Friday, Sept. 1 through Sept. 3
The dive-in movies will be Christmas with the Kranks on Friday, Sky High on Saturday and Ice Princess on Sunday. Live entertainment on Saturday and Sunday afternoons will be a balloon artist, caricature artist, magician and temporary tattoo artist. The cocktail special will be the R&R (Rest & Relaxation).
