Healthcare Company Seeks Those without Health Insurance
Over 1 million people in Arizona are without health insurance, and this number grows larger every year. Many of these individuals work for a living. Are you one of them? If so, your opinions and comments could help the state of Arizona…and others like you.
Healthcare Group of Arizona (HCG), a state-sponsored program, has received federal funding from the Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA) to study the characteristics of the working uninsured at the county level. HCG is attempting to accomplish this by means of a statewide survey. The survey will help HCG learn more about the problems and challenges the uninsured face every day.
The outcome of this survey will assist HCG in developing new programs in the future, and accomplish the goal of decreasing the number of uninsured statewide. The information will not only be helpful to Healthcare Group, but also to other state agencies and research organizations.
The anonymous survey should only take about 15 minutes to finish, and can be completed in either English or Spanish. Survey questions about your job, your employer and your experience with health insurance, can found at the following Internet address through August 31, 2006:
Eligible survey participants must live and work in Arizona and can not currently have health insurance coverage through a commercial company (such as Aetna, Blue Cross, CIGNA, etc.), an employer, AHCCCS (Medicaid), Medicare, or KidsCare.
